Predestiny vs. Free Will

children we don't always appreciate the sacrifice of those that
give their lives to help enlighten us along the way but as adults the
sacrifice becomes clear as our journey is filled with both success and
failure that more often than not, was predetermined by the knowledge and
motivation that we learned as youth. One eventually arrives at the conclusion that while fate may provide the initial opportunity, how we choose to drink from the fountain of knowledge shapes our future as we blaze our trail that is actually predetermined only a moment at a time and governed by our own free will and limited only by the knowledge that we have at our disposal, most of which was learned by teachers, preachers, family, friends and other trail bosses that crossed our paths in our youth… |
